This session goes in depth with the rationales behind using informational text on a regular basis. Going beyond simply a CCSS rationale, this session looks at how informational texts are an important part of college and career readiness. Specific teaching practices which span grade levels and content areas are covered so teachers leave the session with actionable strategies they can use immediately.
