Alternative Education Program Management
Through partnership and consultation, Montage harnesses the strengths of proven methodologies and strategies and then delivers them to schools and districts as a world class alternative education program! Montage Education believes that learning environments can be as diverse as the students learning in them. Montage Education’s Parental Involvement Services are designed to impact a family’s ability to pull resources around the success of their child. We accomplish this through the creation of parent universities, and through the consistent communication between parents and Montage staff. We view parents and guardians as an integral part of the success of our programs.
The PACE (Parenting Academic Career Excellence) curriculum is founded on the principle that academic achievement depends on the continued development of intellectual skills, and that parents play an integral role in guiding a child's educational journey. It is designed to assist parents deal with some of the challenges as they work with their children in navigating the educational process. By parents encouraging discipline and setting high standards, a child's interest and motivation to learn and succeed can be achieved!
Entrepreneurship and Mentoring
Implementation of our entrepreneurship and mentoring program is designed to excite the minds of our students. Using web-based tools that allow students to connect with entrepreneurship and mentoring resources, Montage Education is driving success!
Developed by experienced educators, our online education options are crafted to meet state, national and in some cases international standards. Self-paced semester courses offer not only flexibility in scheduling but also the best in technology. Our solutions are designed to help bring 21st century education effectively to the classroom. It is anticipated that a significant number of K-12 students will be required to take at least one class online by 2014. Montage believes in the power of online learning to connect students to knowledge which was once seemingly worlds away. Though our world is moving toward a more computerbased learning environment, we are still far away from eliminating the digital divide which will continue to challenge those who lack access. Therefore, we must continue to deliver learning resources in the traditional medium: Books! Montage provides books for core academic as well as supplemental areas of learning.
